1. Introduction & Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to Laurior. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at laurior.com (the "Site") and the purchase of any products offered through it. The Site is owned and operated by the company identified in the "About Us & Contact Information" section at the end of these Terms (referred to as "Laurior," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing, browsing, or using the Site, or by placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and our Return & Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.

We recommend you read these Terms carefully and keep a copy for your records.

2. Eligibility

To use the Site and place an order, you must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence (generally 18 years old) and capable of entering into a legally binding contract. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. Our products are intended for adults; the Site is not directed at children.

3. About Our Products

Laurior designs and sells handcrafted pillows intended to support comfortable, restful sleep.

3.1 Made-to-order production

Each Laurior pillow is handcrafted to order in our United States facility. We deliberately do not mass-produce pillows and store them for long periods, because a pillow that sits unused gradually loses some of its supportive structure and performance. By building each pillow fresh after you order, we ensure the product you receive performs at its best. This is why order preparation takes a longer than typical time — see Section 6 and our Shipping Policy for details.

3.2 Product descriptions and images

We make every reasonable effort to display our products, descriptions, materials, and pricing as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colors, images, or other content on the Site are entirely accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Slight variations in color or appearance may occur due to your device's display settings or the handcrafted nature of each item. If a product you receive is not as described, your remedies are set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

3.3 Not a medical device

Laurior pillows are premium sleep accessories. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, disorder, or medical condition, including any sleep disorder. Any references to comfort, support, or sleep quality describe the product's design intent and are not medical claims. If you have a medical concern, including a diagnosed condition, you should consult a licensed healthcare professional before relying on any sleep product. Nothing on the Site constitutes medical advice.

4. Account Registration

You may be able to create an account to make purchases and track orders more easily. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as needed. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in violation of these Terms.

5. Orders & Order Acceptance

5.1 How an order is formed

When you place an order through the Site, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) in your cart subject to these Terms. After you submit your order, you will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your order. This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of your order — a binding contract is formed only when we accept your order and begin processing it.

5.2 Our right to refuse or cancel

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at any time, for any lawful reason, including but not limited to: suspected fraud or unauthorized activity, errors in pricing or product information, product unavailability, or a breach of these Terms. If we cancel an order that you have already paid for, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method. We may also limit or prohibit orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

5.3 Order accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide — particularly your shipping address and contact information — are accurate. We are not responsible for orders delayed or undelivered due to incorrect information provided by you.

6. Pricing & Payment

6.1 Prices

All prices on the Site are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.

6.2 Shipping cost

Shipping is free on all orders.

6.3 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable sales, use, customs, import duties, or other taxes that may apply to your order, depending on your location and local law. Any such charges are your responsibility and are not included in the product price unless expressly stated.

6.4 Payment processing

Payments are processed securely through our payment processor, Shopify Payments. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and you authorize us (through our processor) to charge the full order amount. We do not store your full payment card details on our own systems. If your payment cannot be processed, your order will not be accepted.

6.5 Pricing errors

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for that product at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed. If your payment has been charged and we cancel the order, we will issue a full refund.

7. Production, Shipping & Delivery

Because each pillow is made to order, please allow approximately 5–6 business days for production and preparation before your order ships. Once your pillow is ready, we package it and email you a tracking number — typically about one week after purchase. Estimated delivery times after dispatch are approximately 2–3 business days within the United States, and longer for international destinations.

All shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as carrier delays, weather, or customs processing. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier, except where applicable law provides otherwise; our Return & Refund Policy nonetheless protects you against items that arrive damaged.

8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

We offer a generous 120-Day Guarantee, a 30-day window for reporting damaged or defective items, and flexible cancellation options. All returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. 9. Promotions, Discounts & Offers

From time to time we may offer promotions, discount codes, or special offers. Unless stated otherwise, these offers: cannot be combined with other offers; are valid only for a limited time; may be modified or withdrawn at any time; and have no cash value. We reserve the right to cancel orders or void discounts that are obtained through error, fraud, or misuse of a promotion.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including the Laurior name, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, product designs, images, photographs, and the overall look and feel of the Site — is the property of the company operating Laurior or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Site or its content without our prior written permission. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only.

11. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its security features.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or other users' accounts.
Use any automated means (such as bots or scrapers) to access or collect data from the Site without our permission.
Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
Misuse promotions, reviews, or any other feature of the Site.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates this section, including restricting access and reporting to law enforcement where appropriate.

12. User Submissions & Reviews

If you submit reviews, comments, photos, or other content to us or through the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with our business, including for marketing, unless prohibited by law. You represent that any content you submit is accurate, is your own or you have the right to share it, and does not violate the rights of any third party. We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, edit, or remove submitted content at our discretion.

13. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, and we use third-party providers such as our e-commerce platform, payment processor, and shipping carriers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party websites and services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all products and content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. This section does not exclude or limit any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law, including the rights described in our Return & Refund Policy.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the company operating Laurior, or its directors, officers, employees, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your order shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company operating Laurior and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence, you agree that the courts located in Quebec, Canada shall have jurisdiction to resolve any dispute. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country in which you reside.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Any changes take effect when posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or placement of new orders after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

19. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
